Buddha Belly Doulas has given me so much in my journey of motherhood! I found it online when searching for birth classes when I was pregnant and did the 4-week birth class with Amanda. It gave me so much information leading up to birth and so much confidence. It truly made my labor experience better. After my daughter was born and I started going to their Bumps & Babies support group facilitated by Paige, who is so supportive and a great listener. I made some great mom friends here! Highly recommend for the new moms out there!

Very helpful class! My husband and I are first-time parents with little to no experience caring for babies, so we learned a lot from the newborn class. It gave us simple, practical tips on what to expect and how to care for our baby once we bring him home. We especially appreciated the advice on what to expect, which products are actually useful (and which ones aren’t), and the hands-on portion where we got to practice changing diapers, swaddling, and properly holding a baby. The class was absolutely worth the time and money. The instructor was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the class enjoyable. She answered all of our questions, even the ones that probably sounded silly, and made us feel much more confident about bringing our baby home. We would definitely recommend this class to other first-time parents!

We had a fantastic experience with our birth doula, Jennifer! Her support before, during, and after the birth of our daughter made the experience so much easier both mentally and physically. She was very respectful of our needs and wishes and had great communication with us throughout the whole process. Without Jennifer's knowledge and care, we definitely would not have had an amazing experience as we did bringing our daughter into the world. We also attended a birth class at Buddha Bellies with Paige and really enjoyed it! The class was very informative and Paige was very friendly and explained things well.

It was great having Christina and Melissa to help with taking care of the baby and light housekeeping during postpartum. They are reliable and take their work seriously. I came with kinda a short notice and the agency makes everything easy and straightforward.

As a first time mom, I knew I wanted a doula to help me with my pregnancy and delivery after a friend recommended Buddha Belly. Getting the resources and learning from my doula team was vital in making me feel comfortable throughout my pregnancy journey. On the day of my scheduled c section, our doula Chelsey was there and provided a calming presence in the midst of an overwhelming situation that was scary at times. She was able to provide us information about what to expect throughout the process, which helped put my husband and I at ease. In the OR, she took incredible photos with my phone that I would have never had if she hadn’t been there. Overall, I highly recommend having a doula for whatever type of delivery you may have! They are knowledgeable professionals who have tons of experience and provide a calming, helpful presence for both mom and dad!

I would recommend Buddha Belly Doulas to anyone who is expecting a baby, especially if it's your first. Having Jennifer and Chelsey available to text for questions, thoughts, concerns, etc. throughout my pregnancy was great, as was their home visit to us as the due date came closer. Jennifer was with me through the labor process and neither my husband nor I can imagine what it would have been like without her. She was incredible. Also, Buddha Belly's infant CPR class was very good.

Buddha Belly connected me with both my Birth Doulas and my Post-Partum Doula who were all amazing. Additionally, they connected me with a lactation consultant who I was able to see next-day when I was in the throes of a breastfeeding meltdown. In all, my birth and postpartum experiences were incredibly difficult; without the help of Buddha Belly I'm truly not sure how I would have managed. Thank you all!

Took the newborn care class at Buddha Belly, and can say it was a great course. We left feeling confident and informed. Paige was a wonderful instructor - she kept class paced well, gave helpful feedback and was awesome at answering everyone’s questions. I was also very grateful for the inclusive language Paige used throughout the course. As same sex parents, we felt welcome and supported which is unfortunately not always a given. The facility was beautiful and extremely well equipped. Comfort tools and healthy snacks were thoughtfully offered throughout the 4 hour class.

First and foremost the venue where the class was held was beautifully designed and intentionally curated. Our instructor was prepared, engaging, knowledgeable, personable, great hospitality and wonderfully kind. Although such a vast amount of information, the material was taught in a way that was easy to understand, digest and retain. We learned a lot and absolutely was glad to have had the opportunity!

Buddha Belly, and our dula, Moriah, are absolute life savers! My partner and I welcomed our first child in March and quickly became overwhelmed by the intensity and demands of caring for a newborn. I called Buddha Belly without fully understanding what type of support we would need, and they instantly put me at ease. They explained what different types of support looked like (full-time vs part-time, night vs day coverage, etc) and within a day had set us up with interviews for our dula. Most of all, they were very patient and accommodating as our needs changed. Buddha Belly is professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to supporting our family. Our dula Moriah is passionate about her work, is wonderful with our son and has taught us so much. We wholeheartedly recommend this service to any family looking for compassionate, trustworthy, high-quality childcare.

My husband and I had an amazing experience at Buddha Belly Doulas’ Preparing for Birth class. Our instructor Amanda was enthusiastic, passionate, and so helpful. Everyone came to the class had different levels of understanding when it came to the birthing process and postpartum, but there was never any judgement and I know that no matter how much knowledge we came in with, we all left much more prepared for all things labor, delivery, and postpartum. As a first time mom, I personally had a lot of anxiety and fear about birth before the classes started. Through each of Amanda’s classes, that anxiety and fear started to slip away and although there are still hurdles to overcome, I definitely have more confidence and excitement as I get closer to my due date. My husband also gained a better understanding of the birth process and is more confident in his ability to support me through the birth of our son and through the postpartum period. I loved seeing him get excited for each class and we definitely owe that to Amanda and her ability to keep everyone engaged. Overall, we loved Amanda’s class and would recommend it to any soon-to-be parents who want to become more educated, confident, prepared, and EXCITED for the birth of their little one!

Buddha Belly Doulas is a wonderful resource for expecting parents and new parents! We loved their 4 hr childbirth class. I also have been enjoying their mommy and me monthly support group with educated practitioners! They also have fun pregnant and mommy and me music, yoga, fit for mom classes too! Paige who runs the groups is also a mom and kind, knowledge and warm! It is a welcoming and supportive center and I leave energized, refreshed and with loads of tips to help my motherhood journey!

Having a birth doula was the best decision I made in my birth experience. They helped me to feel so empowered and prepared both before delivery and during labor. I couldn’t recommend buddah belly enough! I had just google placenta encapsulation and they were one of the few that popped up. They were quick to get back with you and was very thorough of how the process goes. Bianca was amazing. She talked you through the whole process and I learned a lot from just watching her work and she’s just a wealth of knowledge. I was highly satisfied with everything. And was even impressed when they reached back out afterwards to just check in on you. I feel companies know don’t do that. I would not think twice about using them again.

Buddha Belly doulas helped us to create our “village” when we didn’t have one available to help us postpartum. During my pregnancy I knew I would need greater support this time around, managing 3 children, working from home and balancing household duties. We were matched with our doula Korene for nighttime support, and are so thankful that she came into our lives! We found ourselves counting down the minutes until her arrival at night! Korene is loving, has a great sense of humor which is so needed during those hard postpartum days. She is also non-judgmental and supportive of all choices. She is punctual, reliable, very hard working and diligent with her amazing love and care for my little guy. She is a wealth of knowledge about lactation, baby sleep, and everything in between. Whether it was a reassuring conversation in those first few weeks post-birth, or her advice and expertise in forming our baby’s healthy sleep habits in the later weeks, her support has been invaluable. Our family has worked with Korene for several months now and we consider her a lifelong member of the family. She has drastically improved the postpartum experience and it is worth the investment. Their scheduling and payment system is also very smooth and professional.

We were lucky enough to work with two amazing postpartum doulas through Buddha belly. My husband and I are first time parents and I truly cannot imagine going through those first few weeks without them. Our night doula Jill was so great and she felt like a member of our family almost immediately. We told our baby she was Auntie Jill 💕. Our day doula Aaliyah was just as wonderful to work with. Having someone to talk to during the day in those early weeks postpartum was so so helpful for me mentally. Every step of the way from the initial intro phone calls to set up interviews to schedule changes due to my daughter being born early, the women at buddah belly were so helpful. You can really tell how much they care about women and their families and during such an important time in a family’s life, that care does not go unnoticed.

When I found out I was pregnant with my second child, I knew I needed to call Buddha Belly to arrange postpartum care. ✨ My experience with placenta encapsulation was truly amazing. After giving birth, I had low milk production (since I have implants), but this process helped me so much. I felt a big difference in my mood, especially during those days when postpartum depression could have shown up. I also noticed improvements in my skin, my hair, and my overall energy. 💖 I 100% recommend it, especially doing it with Buddha Belly Doulas — their support and professionalism made the whole process so special and full of care.

Justine and Melissa were absolutely phenomenal- we had my placenta encapsulated- this is my first pregnancy- and I wanted to be equipped with the pills - since I knew my body’s nutrients where quickest depleted after having our son. I had a few hard days and very emotional-literally the day my milk came in they told me to start taking my placenta pills and the crying went away!!! My husband and I are truly blessed for this service and company!!! They even showed me how to latch my breast properly for breast-feeding. There was no rushing at all in my experience. We had an excellent experience with Korene from Buddha Belly Doulas. She truly went above and beyond what was asked of her to support and care for our family. She has extensive knowledge of newborn care and breastfeeding. She not only provided us with education, but also words of encouragement during the early postpartum period. We were grateful that household tasks were attended to as well. When Korene was working we could actually get some rest knowing our baby was well-cared for and we would wake up to a tidy living space. We often found ourselves counting down the days until we saw her again. Thank you Korene! I had a wonderful experience with Buddah Belly Doula! I chose to have my placenta encapsulated in my home, and even though I went into labor earlier than expected, they still made it to my home promptly and were able to encapsulate my placenta without issue. Josette was amazing—she communicated clearly about her arrival time and answered all of my questions with patience and care. The entire process was professional and completely sterile, which gave me so much peace of mind. After the service, Buddah Belly Doula even followed up with a phone call to check in on both me and my baby. That extra layer of care truly meant so much to me. I would highly recommend Buddah Belly Doula over and over again. I’m incredibly thankful for the support and service they provided during such a special and vulnerable time.

I am so thankful my husband found Buddha Belly to assist in our journey into parenthood! We had overnight doula services with a couple primary doulas and a few fill-in’s and everyone was wonderful! We felt comfortable entrusting them with our newborn and in our home. Even months after ending services (due to no longer needing), many have kept in touch. Everyone was willing to not only provide the expected services but also provide compassionate support and guidance, even off the clock! Being a first time mom without family around can be very difficult and many superhero moms get through it, but there’s no shame in seeking help. She prayed with me when times were scary and she seamlessly became part of our family and part of my tribe. ❤️ Can't say enough positive things about both of them individually and as a team!

Overnight postpartum doula care was priceless, and our doula (Josette) was absolutely phenomenal. We could not have asked for a better experience, which meant so much to me as a first-time-mom. I felt so supported, but beyond that having a knowledgeable professional in home with us helped me feel my baby was safe. Josette helped model a nighttime routine, and our little one is still an excellent sleeper almost 4 months later. Having the peace of mind that our baby was in expert, nurturing hands at 2am when she needed to be rocked for 2 hours and I was in recovery mode was, again, completely priceless. Also, wonderful communication and support from the full team with booking and flexibility on start date. If doula care is at all something you are considering/exploring, I would give Buddha Belly 20 stars if I could. We are so thankful we made the investment in our baby and ourselves.

Working with Buddha Belly and the doula support that we received will forever be some of my fondest memories when I look back on my first postpartum journey. We had 3 doulas support us — we did both overnight and then daytime support, and our final week needed coverage due to our doula’s next client giving birth early — and each doula we worked with was absolutely wonderful. Our doulas were all kind, professional, supportive, and beyond trustworthy. I am truly so grateful that they entered our lives and we created a special bond with each of them that carries on to this day. It is also a huge testament to the agency and the quality/standards upheld for their staff that all of our doulas were incredible. That speaks for itself. Paige, Korene, and Erica were all wonderful to my husband and I, our baby, our home, and even our dog which was an added bonus! We were able to get some much needed rest at night knowing our baby was in great hands and I attribute my strong mental wellbeing postpartum to the amount of support I had. The agency was wonderful to work with as well and the staff is incredibly kind. Amy was always accommodating with scheduling whether it was our unforeseen NICU stay or finding backup for us to ensure our support was reliable and uninterrupted. We miss our doulas so much and I don’t think I would have had such a positive postpartum experience without them! We will absolutely use Buddha Belly for any future birth and postpartum needs.

Buddha Belly has been such a blessing to our family. I had a wonderful experience working with their doulas for the birth of our second child, and I reached out for postpartum support while I was expecting twins - our third and fourth babies. I wasn’t exactly sure what type of support I would need while I was pregnant, and they were amazing about readjusting after the babies were born. The Buddha Belly doulas have been here to step in when and where I need them. Our family has needed flexibility to cover specific dates, and Buddha Belly has been so accommodating and makes scheduling easy - a huge weight off my shoulders. We’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of their doulas, and they all have been caring, dependable, professional, and popular with our older two children. We loved working with them so much we asked to continue past the first year. I truly don’t know how I would do it without them, and I am grateful for their support.

As a first time mom, about halfway through my pregnancy, I decided I wanted to have an unmedicated/natural birth in a hospital setting. There were many, many steps I took to prepare for this plan to become a reality, one of which was hiring a doula. From the moment I met Alessandra and Francis, I knew in my gut that hiring these two to support me during my pregnancy and labor/delivery was the right decision. Alessandra was on call the day/night that I went into labor and with her support, I felt confident laboring at home as long as possible. When contractions got spicy, she was one phone call/text away providing me with the guidance and information that I needed to carry on and keep moving forward. Around 3 am the morning we had our baby, my husband and I decided to head to the hospital. When we arrived at triage, the nurse told me I was 8 cm dilated, so we told Alessandra to head to the hospital to meet us. I continued to labor at the hospital for another 30 min to an hour when Alessandra showed up in our room. I immediately felt her calming presence as she guided me on how to more effectively breathe through some of my toughest contractions and understand how to push. She was advocating for me and ensuring my birth plan came to fruition as soon as she arrived. I had my baby about an hour and a half after I arrived at the hospital so things unfolded rather quickly for me. Alessandra stayed with us for several hours after delivery and came to the mom/baby unit with us until we were situated too. As I have shared with many friends and family, I will be hiring Alessandra again for future pregnancies as I truly believe that with her presence and support, my labor and delivery experience went exactly as I had hoped and planned. If you are on the fence, please know that hiring Alessandra and Francis is worth every. single. penny. Just do it.

Great experience doing the in home birth preparation and post partum classes. My husband and I felt comfortable speaking about our preferences for birth and getting the education we needed to make that happen. We learned so much and can’t believe we considered not doing a class at all. Highly recommend! We had a great experience with Amanda!

If I had one piece of advice for every pregnant woman it would be to hire a doula! Alessandra & Frances were a fantastic team that helped my husband & I navigate my second pregnancy, labor and delivery beautifully. Alessandra was on call the night I went into labor and I am eternally grateful I had her by my side throughout the process. I felt like my second birth was so redemptive compared to my first. It takes such a special person to have that kind of compassion and kindness during such a vulnerable time. Alessandra advocated for my desires during labor/delivery and always made sure I felt in control even if things didn’t go as planned. Her support physically, mentally and the advocacy she gave have forever changed my outlook on birth. I felt so empowered and it’s something I wish every woman knew was possible.

My husband and I attended the Preparing for Birth class and had a wonderful experience! The class was small enough that we were able to ask a lot of questions and really felt like we completed the 4 weeks with a ton of valuable information!

Cassandra truly got us through the newborn stage. She cared for my daughter like one of her own, and gave my husband and I peace of mind to get much needed rest a few nights a week. When my husband and I found out our pregnancy had successfully completed its first trimester after having difficulties in the past, we looked into doula support to prepare for the birth of our first child. Buddha Belly Doulas were highly recommended and welcomed by the hospital we were planning to deliver at. After interviewing with Frances and Alessandra, we knew they were a great match for support we needed. Frances was at the hospital within an hour of me being admitted, and I could not ask for a more perfect birth. Frances was by my side the whole time I was in labor, advocated for me, and continued to offer support as I wanted to deviate from my original birth plan last minute. Long story short- my water broke and my labor progressed so quickly that it was too late for an epidural. Frances's presence was strong and steady that it held space for me to find the strength I needed to push my baby out without any medical interventions. I didn't think it was possible- but it was. Frances and Alessandra also offered support through my pregnancy and were awesome at giving a second opinion when I had concerns. They were just a phone call or text away. They also continued support in early postpartum when my body was doing weird things as I healed. Buddha Belly also offered other support, such as a mom meet up and baby classes that I enjoyed attending. We also have a few postpartum doula support planned for the week when my husband goes back to work to help me as I grow to be more confident in being a new mom. Where do I even begin. I had Alessandra and Frances as my doulas. They were very informative and helped us understand our options. Alessandra attended our birth and she was so incredible. My family was so amazed with her assistance for me and my husband. This is our first child and because of Alessandra we were able to have the birth that we desired. She listened, showed us love, support and guidance. She was with us for several hours every step of the way. She didn't leave our side until we bought our handsome son into the world. I had an epidural,but she still made sure I did the work to get my baby here safely moving me side to side so that I could get to where I needed to be with my water and CM. She advocated for me when my husband and I was put into an uncomfortable situation with my OB who was not listening to our concerns. She stood her ground in making sure that we were heard. Without her support I would have ended up in a unnecessary C-section. Because of her I was able to deliver my baby vaginally without complications. Alessandra has a heart of gold and it shows in her work. She was truly heaven sent. As a black woman we are not often heard in hospitals or doctor office settings,but Alessandra made sure we were heard and that we were advocated for. I had a lot of questions that I felt weren’t getting answered at my OBGYN appointments and once I signed up with them I felt so much more confident in my pregnancy. I had the pleasure of working with Alessandra and Frances during my pregnancy and they are a wealth of knowledge. Both were super helpful and they checked in on me frequently during my pregnancy. The resources and techniques they were able to provide me throughout pregnancy were extremely helpful. As far as my birthing experience goes, Alessandra was a god send to help me get through it. From communicating with me during early labor and through all 36 hours of it, I really couldn’t have done it without her. I had some very specific desires on my birth plan and she really was great in helping me and my husband advocate for myself and our baby during the whole process. Her knowledge, experience, and comforting presence during labor was truly priceless and I am forever grateful that I chose Buddha Belly for their doula services. We had Frances and Alessandra as our birth doula team and they were amazing! They messaged back rapidly when ever I had any questions during pregnancy. Frances was great during labor and delivery. We honestly would've had no clue what to do without her. She was amazing at advocating for me and informing me about everything that was happening and going to happen. She was supportive in every decision I made. She was well informed on various positions and massages that help during labor. We also had Beata as our postpartum doula and couldn't recommend her enough. Every night, she arrived with warmth and expertise, helping with baby massages, burping techniques, and bath times. Her care allowed my fiancé and me to get much-needed rest. Beata's kindness, professionalism, and skills made our transition into parenthood smooth and joyful. We definitely know for our next child we would love to go through buddha belly!

Every service we used with Buddha Belly Doulas truly exceeded our expectations. My husband and I took the preparing for birth class, baby care class, had an amazing doula team and met with one of their lactation consultants. Everyone we met was so kind and knowledgeable. She did not leave my bedside the entire time; not even for a bathroom break. I still get teary eyed with gratitude as I reflect on her role in the birth of our daughter almost a month ago now. Between her support and advocacy when there were some twists and turns, I truly couldn’t have done it without her. She believed in me and poured strength into me in the most incredible ways. The kindness, expertise, passion and professionalism of Frances and Alessandra is second to none. They were born to be doulas. Absolutely the Best experience I’ve ever gone through! We had Alessandra and Francis Doula team prior to delivering our baby girl and also had Francis for placenta capsulation after! This duo was absolutely incredible and answered all of our questions leading up to Labor and helped me through Labor. Alessandra met me at the birth center and helped me get through the hardest part of my labor! She took incredible photos and videoed my entire birth. It was magical! Would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of a doula. Our experience would not have been the same without them!!

I truly believe we would not have had the most amazing, positive, unmedicated, hospital birthing experience without Buddah belly doulas! Frances and Alessandra guided us every step of the way through pregnancy and answered all our questions plus provided numerous beneficial resources. As first time parents, we were nervous but they always knew the right things to say to put us as ease. Frances truly went above and beyond during labor/delivery/postpartum. The doctors and nurses were happy to work with her too! The company as a whole is extremely professional and well run. Highly suggest this company during pregnancy/ postpartum. Working in the medical field I was very anxious about the labor process. Frances was our doula that assisted me during my birth. Her guidance and support during the whole labor process was worth its weight in gold. My husband and I also utilized postpartum doulas Michaela and Jillian. Michaela was also a certified IBCLC that helped me with breastfeeding. All around professionals that support you through any situation you might be wanting extra guidance.

We had the opportunity to work with Josette and Ellie for our baby's birth as well as postpartum. We could not have selected a better team to work with! From the first day of meeting Josette and Ellie, they were incredibly supportive to us throughout the entire process. They provided guidance to us during challenging moments during pregnancy and postpartum. During postpartum, they checked in continuously, provided recommendations and supported us during day and evening postpartum hours. Josette and Ellie gave us the tools to get our baby on a eating/nap schedule at four weeks old. Previously, he was eating constantly with very few naps. Their support eliminated anxiety headed into overnight feeds. After just a few visits, we were sleeping for 3-4 hour stretches overnight. If we are able to have another child, I would not hesitate in hiring the Buddha Belly team and would request Josette and Ellie again. They were the first people we would reach out to with questions, concerns or to share successes.

I worked with sleep consultant, Abby, and she was amazing! Super informative, personable and very supportive for this first time mom on my sleep training journey. Would definitely recommend her services to any family!

My partner and I attended the Buddha Belly pregnancy classes for four weeks. The classes were taught by Justine and Mellisa. Both teachers were knowledgeable and provided us with essential information about pregnancy, both during and after. They taught us in detail about the steps that should be taken during and after pregnancy, which would be beneficial for both the mother and the child. We also hired doulas from Buddha Belly to assist us during the pregnancy, and they were fantastic. I highly recommend that anyone who is pregnant and their partner take the Buddha Belly pregnancy classes to ensure a smooth pregnancy and to gain the necessary knowledge concerning pregnancy.

My time with Buddha Belly as a postpartum doula changed the course of my life. Christie, Julia and their team of extremely qualified and deeply caring doulas ushered me into my life long passion. Every single person on the team is dedicated to continued education and working together to ensure every client at the end of their time walks away feeling rested, prepared and grateful! The only reason I am no longer with the company is because of a move to Michigan. However, given the choice I would have stayed with the company for the foreseeable future! Alessandra and Savannah were amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. Anytime I had questions they were available whenever I texted them. Toward the end of my pregnancy they checked in with me regularly and gave me things to try to prepare for labor. Once labor started they were constantly available with positions to try to get me to progress. Alessandra called me to listen to my contractions and helped me breathe through the pain and she helped me to know when it was time to head to the hospital and she arrived soon after I was admitted. She helped with massages and positions and communicating my needs with the hospital staff. I couldn't have asked for a better labor and delivery experience thanks to her. Even after my daughter was born she continued to check in with us and was available to answer our questions about our newborn when we got home. I highly, highly, highly recommend Buddha Belly Doulas for everyone, especially first time moms.

Ashley and Frances made my vaginal birth possible! I took all the courses and really over prepared but once I was in it, it was all new and I realized that knowing doesn’t mean you’re able to put it into play in a high stress situation. I can’t say enough good things about Buddah Belly and my doula team, Frances and Ashley. From day 1, they were quick to communicate and answer any and all questions I had. Their combined amount of knowledge was astounding. They never made me feel bad about a choice I made and helped me navigate options when I wasn’t sure how I felt about something. When it came to delivery day, Frances was on call. She was by her phone and ready to go when I needed her. I must’ve called and text her 20 times making sure it was time lol! She gave my partner and I a chance to take sleep, and helped me when it was time to start getting the baby into position. I know we’ve been delivering babies since the beginning of humanity, but I truly wouldn’t have known to go half the stuff she walked me through. She got in the bed and helped push me up. She suggested different positions(even though I couldn’t fathom trying them lol). When I was ready to give up, she gently reminded me that wasn’t an option. Post delivery, they’ve still checked on me, given advice, and made sure we’re all comfortable. Every penny was absolutely worth it. Could I have delivered a baby without? Probably. Would I have been as confident and comfortable? Absolutely not. Thank you SO MUCH Frances and Ashley!!

highly recommend getting a night nurse and highly recommend the ladies at Buddha Belly!!!! If you’re on the fence about getting support during nights with your newborn, do it. It’s so nice to have some help to catch up on sleep and recover but the ladies are so knowledgeable and helpful they make the transition much easier. I had help from Anne, Jade and Ophelia all were so lovely and so sweet to my little guy.

My husband and I recently welcomed our first baby into the world and we were lucky enough to have the support of Aubrey and Allison during our pregnancy/labor and delivery. Aubrey was on call when I went into labor and I truly cannot imagine how I would have managed without her! Even though Allison was not on call she still was texting us suggestions, advice, and words of encouragement during a very eventful labor. They both are truly fabulous and love what they do. We had a lot of bumps in the road and my birth ended up looking a lot different than what I had always imagined. Aubrey helped me feel like I still had control over certain things and supported me emotionally when baby girl wasn't looking too great on the monitor right before I started pushing. At the end of the day my daughter and I were both safe and healthy, Aubrey took beautiful pictures that my husband and I will cherish forever, and I can't wait to use these ladies again if baby #2 ever comes along. My husband and I are forever grateful!

We had an amazing experience with Buddha Belly Doulas for the birth of our first child. We had the team of Frances and Ashley, and both came with their own areas of expertise and prior knowledge. When our labor started we had Ashley with us. We honestly could not have imagined going through labor without her. We had Savannah as our post parting doula and she was absolutely incredible! She helped get our son to sleep alone by himself in the doc a tot when he was little as before he was sleeping on us at night. She was so instrumental in helping my husband and I be able to get the rest that we needed as I knew I trusted her with my son at night. I never heard him cry and all his bottles were cleaned in the morning when I got up. I would highly recommend Buddha belly and Savannah!
