She was a lifesaver – Valeska, Tarpon Springs

Christie was an excellent Doula! She was my Doula for my first pregnancy and spent hours with me, teaching me everything that goes on during labor. This really helped as being my first, I had no idea what to expect and she really eased my mind on what I would go through. She also told me exercises that I could do to help with the labor.

When I went into labor she came to the hospital as soon as I called her and was a life saver. She gave me back massages, held my leg when I was pushing and whispered encouragement on how well I was doing when I was being told to push harder by the midwife which was really helpful as I was so worn out and it was so nice to have someone that was telling me that I was doing great, it gave me confidence and made it a lot easier. She also explained to me what was happening as I was going through the labor. She was not afraid to do the hard work.

I also found her very understanding with my wishes in the labor which was very comforting. She stayed on after the baby was born too and helped out with any questions I had, as being a mother was a whole new thing for me. She even took photos for us 🙂

I recommend Christie as a Doula for anyone having a baby, whether it is your first child or not.

She is not only amazing at her job but also a real support and caring, understanding person to have as Doula. She was a real friend to me and made the whole experience so much easier to go through!
