Having my first VBAC was one of the scariest decisions I ever made. When I first met with Christie she encouraged me to ask my doctor questions, to research the pros and cons of vbac, and most importantly, she encouraged me to believe in my body and what I was designed to do. Christie was a support to me and my family before, during, and after my daughter’s birth.

During my daughter’s birth she never left my side and somehow knew exactly what I needed to keep comfortable and keep labor moving along!

She wasn’t just another person in the room feeding me ice chips, she was my encouragement, my coach, and at times, my strength.

Besides choosing a vbac, having a doula was the best decision I made for the birth of my child. I felt empowered and safe knowing someone was there who wasn’t just trained to have my best interests in mind, but genuinely cared about me and my unborn child.
